UniverCity Parcels (sites) 23 & 24 will be cleared of brush and soil for construction. This will involve large equipment and vehicles travelling to/from the sites via campus roadways. Click here for more information.

UniverCity Childcare Centre Project is off to Helsinki
The UniverCity Childcare Centre in the UniverCity community has been selected as one of the poster projects for a presentation on Canada’s most environmentally advanced buildings at the International Initiative for a Sustainable Built Environment’s 2011World Sustainable Building

Planning Excellence Award goes to SFU Community Trust for UniverCity
The Canadian Institute of Planner (CIP) today unveiled the winners of its 2011 Awards for Planning Excellence, an awards program honouring excellence in planning and innovation while taking into consideration an initiative's impact on the profession, its implementation potential, and it's overall presentation. SFU Community Trust was the recipient of an award in the Neighbourhood Planning category for its work in overseeing the development of UniverCity on Burnaby Mountain. Bootcamp for UniverCity residents
Not the military - but a class to challenge your fitness level! Push
your limits and improve overall fitness through a variety of circuits,
obstacle courses, intervals and more. Push, pull and jump your way to
improved endurance, strength, agility and speed. Expect a great sweat,
a good laugh, and a lot of fitness fun!
A fun outdoor class located at Richard Bolton Park, just adjacent to
the new Elementary School. Bring your own yoga mat and tubing.
